I’ll be heading to the United Arab Emirates for the Sharjah International Book Fair — one of the largest book festivals and publishing conferences in the world — to host workshops in comic book writing and creation at the debut of their new “Comics Corner”.

Presented by the Sharjah Book Authority, this book festival’s theme is “Open Books; Open Minds” and I support this theme with all my heart. I am so looking forward to being part of the celebration as the United Nations Educational, Scientific, Cultural Organization (UNESCO) named Sharjah the “World Book Capital” for 2019.
